Born in 1995 in Manchester, UK, Jake Carter has been obsessed with cars since he was a kid. From racing games to late-night drives, he always believed that a car was more than just a way to get from Point A to Point B—it was a part of your identity.
But something was missing.
As a tech geek and customization addict, he had done it all—rims, exhaust, sound systems—but at night, the car’s interior still felt… lifeless. No depth, no energy, no atmosphere.
Jake searched everywhere for a solution. Expensive custom installs? Too complicated. Cheap LED strips? Weak, ugly, unreliable. So, in 2020, during the pandemic lockdown, he started experimenting with LED systems in his garage. By 2021, VELTO was born.
